Hit reply and it dident send my message to brit disc, but thaught i
would send on again because it is topical.

A fair comment David, however the point Matt was making (I believe) is again:

If the person does do that, they don't understand the concept of
"sprit of the game" and as such should be educated by those who
do..... Ideally the captains of the teams and not everyone at once....
there is no real penalty because the idea of spirit of the game
negates a need for penalties.

An common example of this is: in other sports if you "travel" then you
loose possession because you broke the rule. However in Ultimate it is
understood you didn’t do it on purpose because you’re playing within
the guidelines of SotG and as such you just take back the ground you
gained.

If spirit is in question, I’m sure both captains wouldn’t mind
stopping the game (outside of official rules, timeouts etc) to make
sure spirit is still and always will be the primary concern of every
player. Some times tournamnets give games a "spirit of the game
timeout" which would be perfect for this situation.

Hope that has helped.

Liam
