Hi all, With great pleasure we are now able to announce the Edinburgh Ultimate Summer league! When: Week 1: Wed, 24th June Week 2: Wed, 1st July Week 3: Wed, 8st July Note we will also be running a coaching session 6.30-7.30pm every Wednesday for anyone who is interested (all levels welcome). Games will follow promptly at 7.30-8.45pm, followed by pick-up and pub for whoever is keen/interested. Week 4: Sun 12th July: Finals day from 2pm, with BBQ or pub (depending on weather) We aim to make this a fun, social event for all levels - encouraging all abilities to play together. As such, we will make sure teams will have a mix of novices, students, women, old farts. We are also planning to bring a coolbox of beers to each session - cost for a beer/soft drink will be a quid - any money we make from this will be put into BBQ / beers / prizes for the finals afternoon. If you are interested (or know of a friend who is a beginner, but would be interested) and can commit to the dates, please email either myself (wee_jim...@hotmail), Barry ([email protected]), Jeff ([email protected]) or Graham ([email protected]) by Sunday 21st June. If you know you can't make some of the above dates, but still want to play, please let us know which dates you can't make, and we will find you a team.
