Quick junior report from Vienna before most of you set off for nationals.

GB Junior women have just lost the semi final (show game) 17-9 so have to beat
Germany in the morning for bronze.

Meanwhile, GB Junior open lost today in the quarters to a much improved France.
France went on to beat favourites Germany in the semis and will now play
Finland in the final. Finland v Sweden in the morning for bronze while GB play
Czech republic for 5th.

Our big success stories though are in the under 17 divisions. GB u17 open lost
15-9 to Germany then 11-9 to Austria in the round robin but beat Austria 15-10
in the semi (thanks in part to having a fit again captain in Borat, and picking
up the D machine Will Allen from GB Junior Open 2). Rematch with Germany at 2pm
tomorrow.

GB u17 girls have gone unbeaten all week having beaten Germany and Sweden
twice. It's a final against Germany at noon and barring disaster, should be
gold! Youngest on the team is just 12, though she (Ellie Walker-Smith) is one
of the tallest.

Good luck to everyone tomorrow. With 7 GB juniors squads here and 35 European
teams competing in total, the future is definitely looking good.
