Something wonderful. Something with thumbers. The time has come for… BRITISH THUMBER TIME!!! This August bank holiday (27th to the 29th) will see some of the finest teams in Europe coming together for a three days of cocktails and merriment (not to mention hard fought ultimate) just outside of Leicester. Games will be played to Honourable Leicestershire Rules (known colloquially as ‘loose mixed’, what a vulgar term) on the finest grass England has to offer. There will be: · Superb grass pitches · Lashings of strawberries and fresh cream · The finest hot and cold meals prepared by our team of chefs · Secure camping on site · Live music and sets from our resident DJ’s. · A delightfully debauched night out at Leicester’s O2 academy · The opportunity to compete in a tremendously large game of ultimate. and much more besides including fantasy, high tea and our own special ultimate cocktails. This event is brought to you by an unholy alliance of the city’s oldest club, Red, Leicester University’s Jesters and the deviant minds behind the Low % Heroes. The team fee will be £100, and there will be a player fee of £15 to cover your food and other specials surprises.
