BD, UKUW, LL (plus a few other lists I've decided to spam for the heck of it on bcc - sorry to anyone who receives this a billion times),
In case you missed it the first time, this is a reminder that it would be great if I hear back from any ladies potentially interested in GB Women's Masters in Japan this July by TUESDAY (i.e. 3 days from now). Please read below for details. Please don't delay in your reply - I've had sufficient responses so far that a team is quite possible but insufficient responses that I can say this with certainty. Answers to a few quesions I've received: - You must be 30 by the end of 2012 (if I've done my maths right, this means you must have been born before 31/12/1982) - There will not be a Mixed Masters division, only Open and Women (hopefully) - The Women Masters division will be shorter than 7 days if there are not many teams i.e. maybe 4-5 days rather than 7-8 as per the other divisions. This is partly due to field constraints at Worlds but also out of preference by the teams who've committed already not to run a double round-robin. Means either more time for spectating or travel. - I don't have information about costs. Players or whoever organizes the team (this will not be me) will have to figure this out. However, in general you'll need to budget for flights to Japan (not cheap in July), accom, food, and GB kit (at minimum). Probably some training sessions as well, the details of which will need to be sorted by the eventual organizers/captains. Again, if you are willing and able to organize/captain, I am very, very interested to hear from you!
