Hi Rob 1. The intention was the membership in 2012 would not include Ultimatum because the membership expired on 30th Sept. 2. We should evidently have done more to make this clearer and in the circumstances I imagine we'll have to review the position.
Ultimatum aside we need members to maintain a continuous membership and so whilst the two dates were not planned to be connected like this, it is evident that Ultimatum can provide a useful reminder to people to renew. We are planning that going forwards Ultimatum 2013 will be sent to people that have renewed their membership for the season 2013-14 (and so on). Players that don't want to play in the subsequent year are able to sign up to the non-membership Ultimatum Subscription - which we might all hope they would continue doing into the future. I'm not bothered either way and have renewed it, but my assumption was that it did as it said so when I signed up, or at least that is how I read it. To be clear - if I want to read about the exploits of the season just gone do I need to sign up to the next seasons membership?
