On a lighter ... more interesting note ... NEW RULES!
WFDF is adopting them 01.01.2013 ... when are the UKU following suit? There are some very interesting changes! - Added the ability to check the disc in if there is an unnecessary delay after a turnover or after a stoppage * So, you can now check the disc in while the offence are faffing (unlike before). I like! - Removed the gap between “Stalling” and “One” in the stall count * Because we all always respected that! Does this mean it's effectively a 9s stall count now? I like! - Allowed a player to retain possession if, after a turnover, they place the disc on the ground, or intentionally drop the disc * How forgiving and I think spirited! Not sure I've ever seen a turnover result from this currently (unless people are being mean!). I like! - Changed the rule regarding continuation, to allow the play to stand if the call or breach did not affect the play, regardless of when the call was made * Much more in line with the SOTG in my view. Should end those moments that make you cringe when someone on your team enforces the old rule. I like!
