1. Sean, I got no warning about that instance (although I know it's
bad code--just forgot in the heat of coding) since we had:
{
int field = 0;
/* and later in scope */
field = 1;
}
Is it because you were maybe using a release or optimized build?
2. I wasn't trying to be stubborn about putting the field comments
back in--I might need them later when I try to clean up that area a
little in the future.
