v3d and axis3d describe the position of the primitive in 3D space. v2d and axis2d describe an axis at the sketch which will be put on the 3D rotation axis. I.e. think of a sheet of paper with a sketch on it. If you glue a thread on the paper the thread forms a 2D line there.
