I am starting to build a new VM for use by GSoC applicants or anyone else wanting to test drive BRL-CAD.
I am converting to use Debian 7 (7 was recently released but it still suffers new-version pains and I'm not sure I like it, either). I left Ubuntu behind early this year when it became crystal clear they have gone to the dark side with metro (Unity) app fever, and hidden terminal windows and command line pleasure from developers. And I'm not alone... With that off my chest, I would appreciate any suggestions for thhings to put in the new VM or any changes to the READMEs associated with it.
