Hi All,

I just wanted to let everyone know that our participation in Google Doc Sprint
concluded successfully today. In all, we ended up with a roughly 100-page book
that introduces BRL-CAD and gives them pointers on how, specifically, they can
contribute to the project.

We have a lot of announcements that will be coming out over the next couple
weeks and more than a dozen "action items" to take care of to properly wrap
things up, but it was quite an experience. Special thanks deserved to the
seven folks on our team including Cliff, Eric, Check, Isaac, Scott (freelance
contributor), and Harmanpreet. Everyone did absolutely fantastic and I'm proud
of the result.

I'll send out a link later to the book so everyone can review it and provide
feedback/corrections/improvements. There is certainly more work to be done,
but it's a fantastic start.

Aside from the doc sprint team, if anyone else is interested in receiving a
printed copy of the paperback book, let me know in private. First-come
first-serve and ideally only if you plan on giving it to a potential
contributor (or see yourself as one), as we only have a handful to go around.
Note, though, I also plan on doing another higher-quality hardback printing in
a couple weeks after the content is stabilized. So if there aren't enough of
these initial books, there will be more available later.

Thanks again to all of the participants.

Cheers!
Sean
