Thank you for the write up.  Having actual status is certainly great to 
include.  I haven't verified the numbers, but the dendrology (tree) metaphor 
seems overly distracting.  It makes it unclear whether you're talking about 
changes, people, features, or something else altogether.  Can you trim that 
hedge (literally)?  What you're saying is spot-on useful, just without the 
aggrandizing.  I think it'll be a stronger article without the metaphor.
