Hello
I am Djimeli Konrad, a first year university student offering computer
engineering.This is not the first time i am communicating on the mailing
list but i am sorry, i did not get to introduce myself the first time.
What i was actually intending to implement was a shape like a
tetrahedron which could be used to design diamond and crystal shapes like
those found in this link http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tetrahedron .
As to a summary of what i had to offer for three months i intended
to write a tetrahedron.c file containing all required routines, like
routine required for interaction with the database for example exporting
the image from the database, also taking into consideration implementations
for ray tracing , rendering and also writing the necessary test to ensure
accuracy .Implementing the necessary equations and algorithms.
While walking my way through and familiarizing myself with the software
i came across the arbitrary convex polyhedron (arb) with arb5 which
actually produces shapes very similar to what i intended to implement. So i
am considering going though the projects page and choosing and a suitable
project to work on.
This is my first time of trying to get involved with an open source
organization so i wish i can get some directive on how i can keep on moving
forward.
