I’ve built a few projects that were hosted in fossil and set one up myself a 
few years ago.  Written by the same guy behind sqlite.  Tcl/tk and most 
extensions are hosted in fossil too.  I’ve had no complaints but have read 
about others having problems hosting large files in their repos.  Definitely 
more friendly and flexible than git, but github is eating everyone’s dvcs lunch 
these days.
