My two cents - visitor changes should *definitely* be moderated before commit. Spam in the wiki is annoying - spam in the SVN history is a non-starter. There was a project a while back to do DocBook web editing, but I don't know that much ever came of it : http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/DocBook_Editor_Documentation Something to investigate, if nothing else to make sure it isn't useful...
