Thanks for the reply. I would start developing a proposal and
also get myself acquainted with the multiple protocol parsing project. I
would like to get some pointers on how to get started, like where to  base
my focus within the brlcad and stepcode source code. I guess the first step
is familiarize myself with the application protocols.
