I can't apply your patch to SVN trunk. I get this:

Did you copy and paste the diff output or something? It seems like the file
was messed up somehow.
>From my cursory glance at the patch I did notice that when you defined
ID_EPA you used the number 40. You are supposed to use the same ID numbers
as the ones used by rt.
