Hi All,

Now that the submission deadline has pass, many of you can take a deep breath
and relax. However, instead of nervously waiting to see if you get selected,
please keep working as your interactions over the next two weeks can still
affect the desirability of your proposal submission.

Your proposals are evaluated on a number of factors, one being how
independently productive you are. To demonstrate this, you are encouraged to
keep working on your patches and pull requests — ideally technical work related
to your project. Don’t work quietly or nobody will know.

You are also evaluated on your ability to communicate productively and
effectively. This means learning about online etiquette for mailing lists,
IRC, forums, speaking with precision, not wasting other people’s time, helping
each other, etc.

We do not and cannot let you know if you are accepted, only Google does this.
We will not tell you your chances of getting selected. This can be stressful,
but all the more reason I recommend you focus on being productive. At a
minimum, you will be getting introduced to open source software development and
learn useful things along the way.

Best of luck to all applicants and thank you for your efforts. The open source
CAx community needs people just like you.

Cheers!
Sean
