However, you could have a look at the C++ core interface meanwhile to see if it fits your needs for the interface ("Create application interface to brlcad libraries" of your project). The source code is in the rt^3 branch of the BRL-CAD subversion repository on sourceforge. It should compile well on the usual OSs.
