Pardon my intrusion but I couldn't resist. (I still fancy building a Raku (formerly known as Perl 6) interface with BRL-CAD.) This thread is interesting. I didn't realize the old emails were around. Quite a few years ago I searched through all I could find to look for the "off-by-one bug" I found in late 1993 or early 1994 when I started working for ASI in Fort Walton and was assigned to work with BRL-CAD. That bug report was strictly by email corresponce as I recall (in fact, I may have even written a letter to ARL to document the problem). I was a real C newbie, having come from Sun FORTRAN to SGI C. At the time I was looking to see if I could beat you at the earliest bug find! Cheers! -Tom P.S. My granddson is 9 and a half now. Pretty smart but more interested in Minecraft, ice hockey, an lacraosse than learning Raku (or C). Your daughter is probably a programming rock star by now!
