Hey Tom! > Sean and Cliff, Happy New Year! Pardon my intrusion but I couldn't resist. (I > still fancy building a Raku (formerly known as Perl 6) interface with > BRL-CAD.)
Never an intrusion; discussion is always welcome! I was just working with some students this past fall on an attributes project, and the subject of your binary attributes work came up, spent some time reviewing where things were left off with your efforts. > This thread is interesting. There are several replies to your emails are in there.. Looks like the oldest preserved is a cited reply where you suggested in ‘93 an XYZ coordinate system orientation aid in the lower right corner. Another interesting exchange happened in '94 where you asked: a quick qestion (sic) for a novice -- what do i need to use the "html" files? Several responded with an explanation of what the “Mosaic” web browser was, how to get it, how to compile it. Hah! Such an interesting lens on pre-world-wide-web days. Cheers! Sean > P.S. That’s fantastic! I’m finding it to be such a precious time myself. Minecraft notwithstanding, kids have access to SO many things these days. _______________________________________________ BRL-CAD Developer mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/brlcad-devel
