Aside from the fact that the code is not formatted correctly, I think what you have attempted to do is implement the formula given here:

http://mathworld.wolfram.com/Hyperboloid.html

correct? If so, this will not work. The volume formula there is only for a hyperboloid with a circular cross section. Any volume function for a hyp primitive must work with an elliptical hyperboloid:

http://mathworld.wolfram.com/EllipticHyperboloid.html

as the parameter "B" in the hyp primitive defines the ratio of the major to minor axis of the ellipse.
