I can't really help you with how to search -- that IS the task. You may,
however, be thinking about this the wrong way. Sourceforge has a news
feature, for example, that can be used to post an announcement -- and since
I have to tell you that, it can't be one of your 10. They may have some
other blog or feed or forum where volunteer postings can be made, though.
Same goes for github and ohloh.
You may have better luck trying to FIND existing open source volunteer
postings. Search the web as if you were looking to contribute to a project.
You won't find many, but there are some such postings in a variety of
places and ways. You need to identify 10 ways we can spread the word.
