It might not be possible for the places where this macro is presently
called, so you'd have to review them. I believe they're almost all used in
static initializers, so you wouldn't be able to call a funtion either.
That said, you don't need a function to get the size of an array element.
sizeof(struct t) would do it, so another approach may work.
I think we should start by investigating the few places bu_offsetofarray()
are used first to see if we can eliminate that macro altogether. I'll
create a follow-up to investigate.
