Good advice. I'll save some time, though, by letting y'all (my favourite americn word) know that only brltty.conf is installed under /etc/. Systemd and udev files are installed under /lib/. The udev files are: /lib/udev/rules.d/70-brltty-device.rules /lib/udev/rules.d/70-brltty-uinput.rules The systemd files are: /lib/systemd/system/brltty.path /lib/systemd/system/[email protected] /lib/systemd/system/[email protected] /lib/systemd/system/[email protected] /lib/sysusers.d/brltty.conf /lib/tempfils.d/brltty.conf Note that the last two have nothing to do with the brltty.conf that's in /etc/. And then there are the two Polkit files. They're in /usr/share/polkit-1/, and they're names are: actions/org.a11y.brlapi.policy rules.d/org.a11y.brlapi.rules i'll finish by reiterating that I shouldn't have to be doing this. I don't mind sharing information, but I do think it's just plain wrong for any distribution to not use provider-supplied tools and insist on reinventing its own wheel each and every time that a provider finds it necessary to make changes to these things. All that approach will ever yield is a constant legacy of broken packags. Not that it matters, but I, for one, am very unimpressed. -- I believe the Bible to be the very Word of God: http://Mielke.cc/bible/ Dave Mielke | 2213 Fox Crescent | WebHome: http://Mielke.cc/ EMail: [email protected] | Ottawa, Ontario | Twitter: @Dave_Mielke Phone: +1 613 726 0014 | Canada K2A 1H7 | _______________________________________________ This message was sent via the BRLTTY mailing list.
