Hello,

Python is mentioned somewhere in Brltty documentation for NVDA so I hoped it would help, but someone told me NVDA contains everything needed.

Tieman Braille Voyager is probably supported by Brltty - I tried to install manufacturer's historical drivers for Windows 7 with libusb win32 filter, tried to install libusb driver distributed with Brltty but nothing helps. When I try to select Brltty braille display in NVDA configuration, I get an error that Brltty Braille Display can't be retrieved or loaded - I don't know the exact english phrase because of the Czech version of my system. I think there is some bug in Brltty - when I searched Google for some solutions I found that some people have troubles with Brltty even in Windows 11.

Martin.

Hello Martin,

I just thought you were building from source for some reason. It is my
understanding that you do not need python. So why are you concerned about
python? Is the Tieman Braille Voyager not supported by brltty? What does I
can't run mean? With my Focus 40 NVDA just works I don't recall any
configuration steps needed.

Regards,
