I‘m a little bit confused. Your are using ubuntu 22 server?

With focus 80?

Me too but I’m running it on a Virtual Maschine .

And only started with brltty, but it worked from the start.

I moved then to the fenrir Screenreader the “extension “ . You can get brltty with

sudo apt install brltty. But on ubuntu it is installed from the start. Is your usb up and running?

Perhaps, I should remove the BRLTTY package and reinstall it in case
something got corrupted during the initial installation.

I'm sure that, if it were corrupt, then a lot more things would be wrong
with it than just this one issue.
