Hi Paul, I just checked, I have ALL lines in /etc/brltty.conf commented out. I have the Alva and the FS drivers compiled in and this configuration brltty is self determining which driver to load. So my suggestion: since your version has probably all drivers compiled in let brltty self determine what to do. So comment out all lines in /etc/brltty.conf and I mean ALL!!! It's worth a try it works here.
