[quoted lines by Eric Scheibler on 2026/01/18 at 18:08 +0100] You can experiment with the new bindings if you build from the word-nav branch. I didn't want to add a new key so, instead, I moved a few bindings around.
Tab + j goes to and speaks the previous partial word. Tab + k speaks the current partial word. Tab + l goes to and speaks the next partial word. Tab + Ctl + k spells the current partial word. Tab + Ctl + j speaks the current indent. The full word commands use 8, 9, and 0. So: Tab + 8 goes to and speaks the previous full word. Tab + 9 speaks the current full word. Tab + 0 goes to and speaks the next full word. Tab + Ctl + 9 spells the current full word. Tab + Ctl + 8 speaks the speech cursor's location. Tab + Ctl + 0 routes the screen cursor to the speech cursor. In addition, Tab + Ctl + i spells the current line. Let me know if this approach is okay or if changing a few bindings around was the wrong thing to do. -- I believe the Bible to be the very Word of God: http://Mielke.cc/bible/ Dave Mielke | 2213 Fox Crescent | WebHome: http://Mielke.cc/ EMail: [email protected] | Ottawa, Ontario | Twitter: @Dave_Mielke Phone: +1 613 726 0014 | Canada K2A 1H7 | ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ http://mielke.cc/xmother.html (Letter from a Feminist ex-Mother) _______________________________________________ This message was sent via the BRLTTY mailing list.
