Am I understanding correctly that this means that you're running Debian within a virtual machine that's runing on a Mac OS host? If so, this is a configuration that I myself know very little about. What I'm sure of, though, is that you'll need to be very careful about how you forward the host device through to the virtual machine. This'd be true, I'm sure, for both USB and Bluetooth. >I tried to use my mantis q40 with brltty but without succes. >Neither in usb nor in bluetooth it works. Can you capture a brltty debug log so that we can see what's happening from brltty's perspective? Use the -L (uppercase) option to specify the file in which brltty should write the log. Use the -l (lwoercase) option to tell brltty what to log. For USB, specify: -ldebug,usb,brldrv For Bluetooth, specify: -ldebug,bt,brldrv You can attach the logs to your reply to this list. -- I believe the Bible to be the very Word of God: http://Mielke.cc/bible/ Dave Mielke | 2213 Fox Crescent | WebHome: http://Mielke.cc/ EMail: [email protected] | Ottawa, Ontario | Twitter: @Dave_Mielke Phone: +1 613 726 0014 | Canada K2A 1H7 | ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ http://mielke.cc/xmother.html (Letter from a Feminist ex-Mother) _______________________________________________ This message was sent via the BRLTTY mailing list.
