Hello brltty mailing list members:

I am developing an interface for knoppix boot options. One of the
options defines the braille device.

I will be very glad if you could test it and tell me what do you think
about it.

        The iso is found at:

http://sgd.howto-linux.de/download/sgd_plus_knoppix_beta/knoppix_5.1.1_plus_sgd_0.9626_demo.iso
OR
http://sgd.benjamin-butschko.de/download/sgd_plus_knoppix_beta/knoppix_5.1.1_plus_sgd_0.9626_demo.iso
or you can download the iso inside a bz2 file for saving bandwith at:

http://sgd.howto-linux.de/download/sgd_plus_knoppix_beta/knoppix_5.1.1_plus_sgd_0.9626_demo.iso.bz2
OR
http://sgd.benjamin-butschko.de/download/sgd_plus_knoppix_beta/knoppix_5.1.1_plus_sgd_0.9626_demo.iso.bz2

. The braille option is found at: Knoppix > English Super Live Boot ->
Screen -> Braille

You should be able to choose the braille driver, the braille device and
the braille table (language).
Once the three are selected you will find a timeout which will lead
into a "not kernel found" error. This is normal because this is a demo
and knoppix is not included.

TIP: In the Boot menu (the one that timeouts into a error) you can
select the "Show options" option so that you see what parametres are
passed to the kernel.

Some questions that you can answer are:

        1) Is it Screen a good place for braille option or do you advise me to
use another location?
        2) Are there any drivers lacking?
        3) Can any of the orders be improved? I mean... which are the most used
drivers? Should I put them into the top of the options so that they are
easily selected?
        4) Should I put the actual drivers between brackets next to option name.

I mean "Viavoice (vv)" instead of only "Viavoice".

        5) And for tables and devices, I should do the same thing as 4) ?

Thank you very much for you feedback.

P.S.: You are supposed to use grub with up arrow key, down arrow key and
enter key.

P.S.2: Is it already any bootloader that implements this kind of braille
choosing or is it the first one?
