Hi I'm not sure which of these it is, but I've tried using ttyUSB0 a couple of times now. What should I do if it is an integrated converter? I'm connecting the braille display with computer via a "Vario-USB-Adapter". Unfortunately the Display has no USB Port. thanks moritz

Is that a generic serial to USB, or an integrated converter? In the former case you need to give e.g. ttyUSB0 as serial port device to brltty.
