So we now know it isn't the Android release, it isn't the device type, and it 
isn't the language. No, I don't think it's the potential international nature 
of the device, either. In fact, I can now reproduce the problem. My current 
theory is that it may actually be a problem with the SDK. After I updated my 
copy of the SDK to the latest version, the problem seems to have changed.
