Did you select your device after adding it? This is done via Selected Device in brltty's Device Manager. >Should I not have selected the "Add device" option, as the pairing >from the other night had been maintained? As near as I can tell, you did the right things except that, maybe, you didn't set the Selected Device. There may also be another issue, although I think it only began in Android 4.2. A bug crept into Android which causes Bluetooth to fail after too many connect attempts (for the techies, it's a port leak problem). I'd need to see your log to know if that problem is occurring. To clear it, though, just go into Android's settings and switch bluetooth off and then on again. I'm suspecting, though, that you just didn't select the device after adding it. Could you also go into brltty's Advanced Settings and set the Log Level to Debug? After doing that, please restart brltty. This will make any logs you may send me more useful. >Anyway, this is alreadya big step forward; I'm encouraged now. We don't tend to give up. :-) But, of course, we wouldn't get very far if it weren't for patient users who are willing to help us test things. -- Dave Mielke | 2213 Fox Crescent | The Bible is the very Word of God.
