To solve the reboot-to-reset/panic/abrupt-power-failure issues what if we follow that analogy and have a snapshot of the ipadm-related configuration at boot time, to allow the admin to reset to some known configuration, and otherwise make all ipadm related configuration persistent? --Sowmini
