For most of my early beers, I was surprised about how sweet the sweet wort was, and how bitter it turned in the boil. The end result was more or less well balanced anyway. So do not worry too much. Even after the primary fermentation the beer will taste somewhat bitter, but once it gets well carbonated and cooled down, the balance will be quite much better. Of course, making a weaker beer with the same amount of hops will result in a bit more bitter beer, relatively speaking. But the difference will be small enough not to worry about, especially in your first batch. Even if you would not like the bitterness of it when first bottled, let it mature a few more weeks, and you'll see!
