First, fix the checkbox issue. It's really off-putting. Bad software is no excuse; you have the entire BSD community to draw on. Second, you should start off the survey by defining the levels. This may seem circular, but it isn't. Start by providing job descriptions for the various levels, and the survey will tell you which skills are needed for each job description. "Novice admin", "Junior admin" etc. are too vague and too open to interpretation. Third, you should revise the frequency scale, and provide a better definition for it. The frequency scale should be per-system; otherwise, the answers you'll get will vary with how many servers each respondent manages, or imagines that an average admin might manage. The frequency scale should go like this: - Never - Only on exceptional occasions - Once only, during installation - Monthly - Weekly - Daily This is all I have time for right now...
