While I can't speak for others, I know that I don't mean to be negative. I don't think that we can offer enough cheers and accolades to the folks that have undertaken this effort.

I have been scanning the responses to the task analysis survey for a few
days now. Arguments about the needed peer review, about the structure of the
survey, about it being shaky etc. etc. What I feel lacking (but maybe I
missed it) is constructive criticism, a discussion about content and
practical suggestions for improvement. The over all tone of the discussion
is negative. Granted, I am relatively new to BSD and maybe this is a
'natural way of BSD business', but isn't this counterproductive.

Community building takes time and community involvement is crucial. We all
agree on that, so why not be creative and constructive about it. If you
don't like the survey (all or parts of it): just post your improvements
instead of your comments.

Take care
