The BSDA will be generic. e.g. you won't be asked something like "on which version of FreeBSD will you see x".
As the candidate studies, it will become more apparent that many sysadmin tasks are the same on all 4 BSDs, and where they are not, it is a good thing to know what tools are available. This allows for transferability of skills which is always an asset to both the employee and an employer.
