Hmm, I think that Kev meant the number after the dot (it should be even
to indicate that it is meant to be a stable codebase), therefore the
suggestion to use "2.4". The upcoming draft of release notes will use
"2.4" as its release number, but could be easily changed, of course. We
just should decide and settle on the version number (it should be bigger
than 2.3 which was issued
