Forcefully terminating it with C-g shows the stack trace below, which leads me to believe that `LaTeX-fill-paragraph' is at fault. The buffer shows that lines are inserted indefinitely with the comment sign % in them.
I received the bug report attached at the end from Aquamacs user Morten Høgholm <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>. I could reproduce the issue on my system.

As an example I can open the sample file test.dtx (attached) and all is seemingly well. But when I put the curser in the text and press "Esc q"to reflow Aquamacs hangs and cpu usage goes to 80-90%. I have to do aforce quit to move on. I'm no expert in debugging so all I have done isattach the output from Spin Control (1.7MB unzipped, 12KB zipped). I'mdownloading the latest nightly build to see if that makes a difference butit might take a while as I am on a terribly slow connection.Any ideas as to what is going on?
