Sure, every bug is a bug too much. What I've meant to say was that we don't get so many bug reports that a plain mailing list/newsgroup becomes too confusing. But as said: if someone volunteers to figure out how to get AUCTeX into debbugs.gnu.org, please do so. It's probably not too hard.
