When trying to build a mipsel cross of gcc-3.2.3 (host x86) I get the
error:
Error: operation combines symbols in different segments
it seems to be the issue discussed at:

I was unable to find wht resolution there is to this. Does anyone
know if this is fixed and if so in which release(s)?
