FWIW, the grub testcase is

}
compiled then linked with -nostdlib -Wl,-N -Wl,-Ttext -Wl,$link_addr
The above C code is compiled into the first 17 bytes of the dump. The
differences look to be in .eh_frame. Not an objcopy bug. The grub test is
bogus.
