Just mentioned for the record; I'm assuming this is to be expected between the old and the new tools as apparent from a readelf -a diff between old and new output): --- comm-data2.o.old.txt Tue Mar 6 00:26:42 2012 +++ comm-data2.o.txt Tue Mar 6 00:30:44 2012 @@ -10,8 +10,8 @@ ELF Header: Version: 0x1 Entry point address: 0x0 Start of program headers: 0 (bytes into file) - Start of section headers: 172 (bytes into file) - Flags: 0x4000000, Version4 EABI + Start of section headers: 180 (bytes into file) + Flags: 0x5000000, Version5 EABI Size of this header: 52 (bytes) Size of program headers: 0 (bytes) Number of program headers: 0 and: @@ -62,3 +62,6 @@ Symbol table '.symtab' contains 10 entri No version information found in this file.
