The issue is still present in 2.30. Sample input:
$ cat fmov.asm
.global main
.section .text
.balign 4
main:
fmov d4, w2
fmov s4, x2
fmov w4, d2
fmov x4, s2
ret
$
The assembler should mark these instructions as invalid.
