Hi list,
date works fine with this zone name (my normal tiomezone CEST now):
env TZ="UTC" date
Mi Aug 17 13:50:26 UTC 2005
since CEST is UTC-2
env TZ="UTC-2" date
Mi Aug 17 15:51:30 UTC 2005

as you see time is ok but the timezone is wrong (should be UTC-2).
A different format shows that everything is parsed fine:
env TZ="UTC-2" date -R
Wed, 17 Aug 2005 15:53:00 +0200
