Hello! Don't think that I'm cracking cvs.cyclic.com. I crack my personal repository and I only reproduce it when I know that it's safe. I'm not going to crash or crack cvs.cyclic.com should I find out how to do it. Well, how about this: [proskin@sunapee ccvs]$ cvs -n rdiff -D now ../../../var/tmp cvs [server aborted]: could not chdir to abibldsvr: Permission denied [proskin@sunapee ccvs]$ cvs -n rdiff -D now ../../../etc/ cvs [server aborted]: could not chdir to uucp: Permission denied [proskin@sunapee ccvs]$ cvs rdiff -D now ../../../proc/scsi cvs server: failed to create lock directory in repository `/proc/scsi': Permission denied cvs server: failed to obtain dir lock in repository `/proc/scsi' cvs [server aborted]: read lock failed - giving up [proskin@sunapee ccvs]$ cvs -n rdiff -D now ../../../root cvs [server aborted]: could not chdir to .AbiSuite: Permission denied The latest is the most "amusing". Sigh :-( This behaviour can be reproduced with cvs-1.10.8. I'm not interested in exploiting old holes. Best regards, Pavel Roskin
