It would be nice to see versioned attributes, but I think the issue and Mark were only talking about tweaking the `cvs admin' command to set and unset x bits on archives in the repository, so the recommended way of fixing a mistake was no longer to have the server admin go in and chmod +/-x. I think it will be easier to tweak `cvs admin' to chmod +/-x than to fix the PreservePermissions code. :) Regards, Derek -- Derek R.
