The drive was disconnected the second it started to behave patchy, and never
loaded R/W after that, I seriously doubt the FS is corrupted. 
Is my partitioning of the rescue disk the correct way of going about it?
Is there anything else I could do, I didn't setup backups and have photos on
it from over a decade ago, any ideas would be highly appreciated.
